Wish List

I added a new feature this morning. It is called WISH LIST. It is a list of all of the shows in the database that you DO NOT have in your list. Check it out in the MY LIST section. Click on the Take Me To My WISH LIST link. Let me know what you think.

TRASH TREASURY REVIEW BOARDS, NEWSLETTER, AND DOCUMENTARY

Thanks to ESM user, RAINDOG, and his website TRASH TREASURY , there is a new feature to the site. In the CD section, there will be an icon of a PENCIL next to the show date that will indicate that there is a Review Message Board on the Trash Treasury site for that particular show. You can click on the icon to get to the board where you can read and write (members only) reviews on that show. I hope to do more colabaration work with Trash Treasury in the future.

I have just finished up my mass-mailer program for the ESM newsletter. I will be emailing all of you in a while, so if you get it, and it annoys you, don't worry. I plan on finishing my Cancel Newsletter page soon. The newsletter will be sent out when there are updates to the site, or if I just want to mention something Elliott related. I will also be creating an application where users can submit a request to use the mailer for shows, tributes, etc. Again, the only email you will ever get will be STRICTLY ELLIOTT SMITH RELATED, but if you wish to NOT get the letters, I will have that option for you.

Again I wanna say how much I regret that the podcast did'nt happen. I'm going to, as I mentioned before, re-direct the idea and start editing video for a DVD documenatary. I started this project a while ago, but put a hold on it for a while when I started writing the podcast. I'm really excited to start this project up again, and it has a much better chance of completion, due to the fact I don't have to talk and there is endless material. There prob. won't be interviews or naration, but more of a large mix of various footage of shows, interviews, etc.

THERE IS A LOT OF FOOTAGE ON THIS SITE THAT I STILL DO NOT HAVE. ANY CONTRIBUTION TO THE DOC WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!!!!

LOOKING FOR AN ADMIN, NO NAME FAILS, AND ELLIOTT SMITH RADIO TRIBUTE

First thing I wanna say is that I'm glad that people are still coming to the site and registering. I see several more trades have been made as well. Thanks for using the Trade Tracker.

It was my intention when building this site to be as hands off as possible, but there is still a lot of work to do, and there will always be changes/fixes to be made. Unfortunatly, I have many other projects I work on, mostly for my job, and it's too hard to keep up. That being said, I'm looking for some help maintaining the site. I need someone to delete bad entrys, duplicates, mistakes, etc. If anyone is interested, please do not hesitate to email me.

I also wanted to metion that NO NAME, the podcast, completely fell through. I got maybe one response with material. It just did'nt work. I am, however, going to re-direct the effort in the form of documentary. I will be asking for help with that, and I hope to get a better response. Basically I'm just looking for footage, sounds, photos, etc.
